Open day Rugby Bratislava

Several hundred people, kids and their parents, learned today that there is rugby played in Bratislava and that it is a fun sport for all.

RKB set up its stage at the Children’s Day event organized by Bratislava  – Nove Mesto municipality at Kuchajda.

And while there were showers in the morning, most of the day it was beautiful time (well, if we don’t count the huge downpour that finished the event just before 4 PM.)

As all the kids who wanted to get a present from the organizers had to go through our stage, there was neverending stream of boys and girls, 2yo to school kids coming our way.

They got the chance to kick the oval ball over the improvised rugby posts and to try passing on target.

Some liked it so much they came more than once.

Several hundred people in Bratislava knows about rugby today. That’s several hundred more than yesterday.

Mission accomplished. Or… good start.

(Big thanks to all who showed up and made this happen)

(Veľká vďaka všetkým, ktorí prišli a umožnili to.)
